- UNDP Bhutan is seeking proposals from eligible and qualified consulting firms to Update of Bhutan's Long-Term Low Greenhouse Gas Emission and Climate Resilient Development Strategy (LTS) 2023 in preparation for NDC 3.0 of Bhutan. Please see below the brief scopes key tasks of the assignment. Encourage firms to review the Request for Proposal documents the terms of reference while preparing the proposal.The scope of this assignment entails updating the Long-Term Low Greenhouse Gas Emission and Climate Resilient Development Strategy (LTS), 2023 through systematic stock take of the LTS 2023, setting objectives, milestones and strategies across sectors to meet the aspirations espoused in the LTS vision, leveraging climate technology transfer and mobilizing investments from public and private sectors. The key tasks of this assignment are as elaborated below: A. Revisit the national LTS vision and strategy 2023 taking into account the recent and new developments and policy instruments. I. Review the recent national development strategies/plans/reports such as the 13th Five Year Plan, 21st Century Economic Roadmap, Climate change policy, NAP, BTR1 and other relevant sectoral development goals and plans including major infrastructure and industrial projects and initiatives with an eye on alignment of the updated LTS with the aspirations therein.
